Powerful Advertising: For Nature, Everyday is 9/11

This powerful thought provoking advert was designed by CLM BBDO in Paris, France, for the Nicholas Hulot Foundation. The foundation is an environmentalist group that was created in 1990. The ad was taken from the famous image of the second plane crashing into the world trade center, and was photoshopped to replace the skyscrapers with trees. Really cool idea. Now how cool is this? The designers know what I’m talking about. This table uniquely showcases the top 100 most popular, influential and notorious typefaces today. First on the list is Helvetica of course. Get a large version here. All designers have used at least 30 of these fonts somewhere or the other. One of my favourites, Rockwell, is up there too. Whats yours?
