The BMW M1 first saw production from 1978 to 1981, it was conceptualized and designed by Giorgetto Giugiar, who also designed the timeless VW Golf 1, the futurisitc DeLorean DMC-12 which was featured in the Back to The Future trilogy, the Lotus Esprit S1 and tons more. Only 456 M1’s were made, instantly making this a sought after limited edition must-have. Sadly, the new model is only a concept, designed by Paul Bracq. Have a look at the transformation below.
