Oh man, I want one of these babies. When it comes to Multimedia Design, I’m always short of screen space but this concept offers users twice the amount of real estate. Other than using each screen for browsing, chatting and porn, believe it or not, there are uses for it! Designers will appreciate this, you can have Adobe Bridge in the first screen, After Effects in the Main Screen and maybe use the third for other apps and browsing. If you noticed carefully, the touchpad extends from the center to each end. Yeah maybe ditch that before production. Judging by the size of the CD’s it looks like a 13″, but I’m no expert…Oh wait, I am
Well anyway, I’d look forward to this if or when it comes out, the features are functional above all else, so i like that. I wonder how movies will look on this… In my opinion, the gap to the adjoining screens should be seamless and as invisible as possible. But i’ll keep you updated about this prototype. What would you use this for? Leave a comment, speak your mind.

I agree with you on the mouse and the seamless screens… I’m pretty sure they could find a better solution for the mouse, but the screens would be hard to sort out. I think they may have been trying to get the impression of 3 separate screens on one computer instead of one very large screen, so it would make sense for multimedia design, but not so much for entertainment.
And there is that other problem that it is a mac >.>

Mac is fail for everything cept design jobs. Also a little overpriced in terms of components don’t you think?

Overpriced, definitely. But people buy into the experience. Use the new Touchpad on the new Unibody Macbooks and you’ll understand.
