I don’t need to tell you how awesome this really is, fruit juice boxes that are designed according to what fruit flavour it contains! This instantly goes under the category of innovative branding. Designed by Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, the packaging is much more appealing to the eye by imitating the actual fruit that the drinks flavour contains. Above we can see banana, strawberry, and kiwi fruit flavours. His designs have won more than 40 awards in the U.S and Europe. He says; “I imagined that if the surface of the package imitated the colour and texture of the fruit skin, then the object would reproduce the feeling of the real skin.”
Wow, I’m impressed. I wish we saw more branding like this, well, not with meat of course. That would be seriously weird. Hit the jump for more designs from this project and an interview with the dude.

It really is awesome design! BUT it’s not practical.
the cost involved to produce this with the different textures would increase the price, making it much more expensive than it’s competitors.
However printing it as an image on the box would certainly make it possible to produce this at a reasonable price.
GOOD ONE Though!!!!
